Google Scholar hits

In Honours blog on March 24, 2009 at 8:29 am

After a quick search on Google Scholar I came across several articles that could be quite pertinent to my project:

How Choice, Co-Creation and Culture Are Changing What it Means to Be Net Savvy

The New Foreign Correspondence

Consumer Citizens Online: Structure, Agency, and Gender in Online Participation

Taking risky opportunities in youthful content creation: teenagers’ use of social networking sites for intimacy, privacy and self-expression

This was just taking the suggestion from our class on Thursday and throwing a few key words through Google Scholar. A resource worth going back to, but not to be relied upon. There is something scarily conformist and bland about doing the majority of your research on Google. I feel like bazillions of other students would come up with the same material as me given the same topic. And where’s the interest or innovation in that?
